THCA Association Hosts “Interact with Young Members” Session; Justice S. V. Bhatti Urges Ethical Excellence and Practical Wisdom

3,July,2026- Under the chairmanship of S. Surender Reddy, President of the Telangana High Court Advocates’ Association, an “Interact with Young Members” programme was held today, 3 July 2026, at 1:40 PM, featuring Hon’ble Justice Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti of the Supreme Court of India.

The event provided a forum for early-career lawyers to engage directly with a sitting Supreme Court judge, who shared practical guidance, professional insights, and exhortations on upholding the rule of law and the ethical duties of the Bar.

Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, Aparesh Kumar Singh, attended as Guest of Honour and addressed the gathering, underscoring the judiciary’s commitment to mentoring the next generation of advocates.

Several Hon’ble Judges of the High Court for the State of Telangana were present and added their perspectives on courtroom conduct, case management and the evolving responsibilities of legal practitioners in a democratic society.

The programme opened with a welcome address by P. Shravan Kumar Goud, Secretary of the Telangana High Court Advocates’ Association, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by K. Niranjan Reddy, Secretary of the Association.

The Association’s office-bearers D.L. Pandu (Vice President), P. Krishna Keertana (Joint Secretary), Balaji Banoth (Treasurer), and Vishnu Vardhan Jayasurya (Sports and Cultural Secretary) along with Executive Committee members Konda Reddy Jakka, Rukmini Pallela, Shilpa Gelli, Bhargavi Kavali, Aravind Kumar Gadi, Pool Singh Naik Ramavath, and Ravi Ponampelli, were actively involved in organising the event and received the Hon’ble Judges on arrival.

The session was attended by a distinguished roster of legal functionaries, including the Learned Advocate General, the Chairman and Vice‑Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana, a Member of the Bar Council of India, Additional Advocate Generals, the Public Prosecutor, the Additional Solicitor General of India, the Deputy Solicitor General of India, Additional Public Prosecutors, law officers, senior advocates, members of the Association and other dignitaries.

The presence and participation of these office‑holders enriched the dialogue and contributed to the programme’s success.

The interaction emphasised mentorship, professional integrity, and the practical skills required for effective advocacy. Participants described the session as inspirational and instructive, noting that the advice offered by Hon’ble Justice Bhatti and the High Court judges will inform their practice and professional conduct going forward.
