Supreme Court Advocates on Record Association Passes resolution requesting Justice Arun Mishra to be More Patient

In an unprecedented manner the executive committee of the SCORA has expressed its deep concern over the threat issued to Senior Advocate Gopal Shankarnarayan with contempt action by Justice Arun Mishra during a hearing.
There has been an uneasy atmosphere in the circles of the legal fraternity for some time, on several occasions Justice Arun Mishra passed personel remarks.
Many members of the bar have repeatedly been raising such grievance about this unwarranted treatment by Justice Arun Mishra.
The SCORA passed a resolution today requesting Justice Arun Mishra
“We request Hon’ble Justice Arun Mishra to be little more patient in dealing with the lawyers:, the resolution said.
The association reminded that the duty to maintain dignity and decorum of the Court is cast upon both lawyers and judges.
Senior Advocate Vikas Singh has written a letter to the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association to convene an urgent Executive Committee meeting and pass a resolution condemning the incident and seeking the apology from Justice Arun Mishra.
