The executive committee of Supreme Court Bar Association passed a resolution on Saturday urging the Court to declare at least four weeks’ vacation in view of the COVID 19 pandemic from March 23.

Taking note of the sudden outbreak of Coronavirus, the Supreme Court has been following restricted functioning since March 16, hearing only urgent matters. The Court has also adopted several precautionary measures to avoid overcrowding and enforce physical distancing between persons within court premises.

The SCBA also suggested to adjust the lost dates in the forthcoming summer vacation.
