CBI Arrests An Assistant Director Of Delhi Development Authority For Accepting Bribe Of Rs. 30,000.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Assistant Director of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs. 30,000/- from the Complainant.


          A case was registered on complaint against the Assistant Director, DDA, Laxmi Nagar-II, Delhi on the allegations of demanding bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant to clear the file related to issuance of conveyance deed of property in the name of his wife. It was further alleged that the accused agreed to accept bribe of Rs. 30,000/-, after negotiation.
          CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 30,000/- from the Complainant. Searches were conducted at three locations in the premises of accused.

          The arrested accused will be produced before the Competent Court at Delhi.
