“Unholy Alliance”: Citizen seeks Supreme Court Intervention in Maharashtra Political crisis.

A voter from Maharashtra filed a fresh PIL in Apex court on Friday seeking to restrain the Maharashtra Governor from inviting political parties Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress to from the government “against the people’s mandate.
Surenderbahadur Singh in his petition contended that BJP-Sena alliance had received the mandate.
The petitioner contended that these three parties had all fought against each other but is now trying to form a government by joining hands thereby defeating the electoral mandate said the petitioner.
The voters had casted their votes for MAHA-YUTI (alliance between BJP and Shiv Sena) on the belief that the mandate is being made in favour of the BJP-SHIV SENA, similarly people have voted either NCP or INC on the belief that the vote is being made in favor of MAHA-AGHAD with the hope of forming the government. As per the results, the BJP (105 MLA’s) and Shiv Sena (56 MLA’s) i.e 161 elected MLA’s.
“The Act of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress is contrary to the constitutional scheme for staking claim to form government without legitimate alliance of political parties, which is far from the concept of popular government”. The previous petition. Filed by a person called Pramod Pandit Joshi, said.
