the NALSAR University of Law, established by Act 34 of 1998 is engaged in teaching and research in law and allied disciplines. The University has been consistently ranked as one of the best Universities in India. In recognition of its academic standards National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded it ‘A’ grade (A+ as per new grading system) with a score of 3.60 out of 4.00 which is the highest amongst all National Law Universities in the country. NALSAR has also been accorded with the status of Category – I under UGC (Categorization of Universities (only) for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018.
NALSAR has always been endeavoured to promote quality research in contemporary legal issues and allied areas. The University established the advanced Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL) in 2005 which is now known as Centre for Aerospace and Defence Laws (CADL) with the objective of promoting the study and research in the field of aviation, space, defence & security laws, maritime laws and policies. Since then, NALSAR-CADL has continuously promoting the study of Aerospace and Defence Law by introducing courses, conducting National and International Conferences, Moot Courts, Workshops and also publishing Newsletters, Books, Journals and Articles besides awarding a few M.Phils and Ph.Ds in the said area. The objective of introducing such value added courses is to cater to the needs of thousands of manpower to meet not only the managerial requirements but also the legal compliance that arise from the high value transactions.
In continuance of the said practice the CADL-NALSAR is offering the following innovative courses and we are glad to inform you that the admission notification for the academic year 2019-20 has been released:
i. Two-Years MA (Aviation Law and Air Transport Management)
ii. Two-Years MA (Security and Defence Laws)
iii. One-Year P.G. Diploma in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management
iv. One-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Maritime Laws
