Justice Naushad Ali a native of Chittoor District, was designated as Senior Advocate by the apex court on Saturday.
Justice Noushad Ali was born on 08th March, 1952 to late Sri Md.Usman Saheb and Smt.Rabia Bee in Palamaner, Chittoor District. Graduated from S.V.Arts College, Tirupati and obtained law degree and M.S.W. from Bangalore University. Enrolled as an Advocate on 14-06-1976 and set up independent practice in the High court of Andhra Pradesh appearing in civil, transport and constitutional cases. Served as the Executive Member of High Court Advocates Association; Vice President of High Court Advocates Association; Member of A.P. State Bar Council, Member of A.P. State Wakf Board. Worked as Government Pleader in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and was standing counsel of U.P. Export Corporation and legal advisor to A.P. Commission for Minorities. Sworn-in as Additional Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 18-12-2009. Appointed as Judge, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as such, on 26-11-2010. Retired on attaining the age of superannuation on the afternoon of 07-03-2014.
