With immense gratitude and a profound sense of duty, I address you today as the newly appointed Governor of Telangana. I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust placed in me by the President of India and the Prime Minister of India.
Originating from Tripura, I carry with me the vibrant cultural heritage and unwavering spirit of resilience from my homeland. It is both a privilege and a profound responsibility to now serve the people of Telangana—a state celebrated for its rich traditions, diverse cultures, and breathtaking beauty.
Telangana, positioned at the heart of India, is a land brimming with vitality and potential. Its abundant natural resources, fertile lands, and strategic location make it a crucial hub for trade and innovation. The people of Telangana are renowned for their industriousness, creativity, and steadfastness.
I extend my sincere congratulations to the Government of Telangana, led by the energetic and visionary Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his dedicated Cabinet. Together, we embark on a journey of progressive transformation, anchored in the values of democracy, justice, compassion, and the principles enshrined in our Constitution.
Our vision for Telangana is one of balanced and inclusive growth, where economic advancement harmonizes with social equity and environmental stewardship. A central focus will be the education and empowerment of our youth, who are the cornerstone of our future. By investing in their education and opportunities, we set the stage for a brighter tomorrow.
Healthcare is another area of critical importance. We must ensure that every citizen has access to high-quality healthcare, including preventive care and public health initiatives.
Supporting our agricultural sector, a vital pillar of our economy, remains essential. I commend the state government’s initiative to provide relief to farmers by waiving crop loans up to 2 lakhs. This support is crucial for sustaining the hard work and contributions of our farmers to the state’s prosperity.
My commitment to inclusivity and social justice is firm. A thriving society is one where every individual, regardless of their background, is afforded the opportunity to succeed. We must work together to address disparities and create an environment where everyone feels respected and empowered.
