Minister of Punjab Jails met the Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mehmood Ali

Sh.Sukhjinder S.Randhawa, minister for jails, Government of Punjab has met Mohd Mahmood Ali, minister for home at the Home Minister’s office in Hyderabad on Thursday. He visited various jails in Hyderabad to study the situation of the prisons department in Telangana state along with the jail department officials.
A team of officials led by the Punjab Jails Minister is touring the state of Telangana to study the various schemes being implemented by the state prisons department to bring about change in the inmates. On the occasion, Home Minister said that all facilities have been provided for the inmates to continue their studies. He said Telangana government had set up an industrial unit and imparting training. He said that prisoners who have completed their sentence are being employed in ongoing petrol bunks underthe Jail Department. Punjab Jails Minister Sh.SukhjinderS. Randhwa said that he had visited the jail in Cherlapally and also open-air jail. A few more prisons will be inspected on Friday. On this occasion, the Home Minister presented the Charminar memento to the Minister of Punjab. Telangana Jails Department DG Rajeev Trivedi, IG Saidayya, Punjab Prisons ADGP Praveen K Sinha, SPS Oberoi and others were present on the occasion.
