Langer House Police Crack Down on Property Offenders: Three Arrested in Burglary Investigation

In a significant development the Langer house police have apprehended the offenders after thoroughly scrutinising the CCTV footage.
On January 15, 2025, Shekar Goud, a businessman residing in Hyderabad, filed a complaint with Langer House Police Station regarding a burglary that occurred while his family was away celebrating Sankranthi. The crime was discovered by their maid upon returning to the house. The burglars had gained entry into the residence and stolen gold jewellery. Upon inspection, it was confirmed that 9.750 tolas of gold had been stolen.
Acting swiftly, the police registered the case under Crime No. 08/2025 and launched an investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Clue Gathering and Investigation:
Langer House Police meticulously analysed over 100 CCTV cameras spanning the areas from Langer House to Gachibowli and Kukatpally. The breakthrough came through crucial fingerprint evidence, which pointed to the culprits. With this evidence in hand, the police set up a special task force and successfully apprehended the offenders on February 14, 2025. The accused were arrested at their respective residences.

- Age: 18 years
- Occupation: Unemployed
- Address: H.No: 5/A, Environ Enclave, Sri Sai Baba Nagar Colony, Kukatpally, Hyderabad
- A3: Maganti Sai Kumar
- Age: 22 years
- Occupation: Water Supply
- Address: 7th Phase VR Mens Hostel, Kukatpally, Hyderabad
The trio was apprehended at approximately 7:30 PM on February 14, 2025, and presented before the Hon’ble VI ACJM Court for judicial custody.

- 4.5 thulas of gold jewelry, including:
- Gold necklace (2½ thulas)
- Gold ring (1 thula)
- Ear chains (½ thula)
- Champa Savralu (3 layers) (½ thula)
Chanda Nagar PS Recovery:
- 8.234 thulas of gold, including:
- Gold chain (24.42 grams)
- Gold long chain (35.44 grams)
- Gold bracelet (16.3 grams)
- Gold small chain (6.18 grams)
Modus Operandi:
The gang specialized in targeting empty homes, selecting properties where the residents were away. Prior to committing their crimes, the thieves consumed alcohol to boost their confidence. After the theft, they enjoyed a lavish lifestyle, spending the stolen money on parties, expensive items, and entertainment without any regard for the consequences.
This gang has been linked to several other property-related offenses across various Commissionerate’s, including six cases within the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda regions. Notably, they were involved in cases under Langer House PS (1 case), Jubilee Hills PS (1 case), Chandanagar PS (1 case), Suraram PS (1 case), Nagole PS (1 case), and Vanasthali PS (1 case).
Team Behind the Operation:
The operation was successfully carried out under the leadership of G Chandra Mohan, DCP, South West Zone, and M. Iqbal Siddiqui, Addl. DCP, South West Zone. It was closely monitored by Syed Fiaz, ACP, Golconda Division. The Langer House Police team, including Inspector K. Raghu Kumar, SHO, Langer House, Detective Inspector Rajendra Prasad, and Sub-Inspector M. Raghavendra Swamy, played pivotal roles in the arrests. Special recognition was given to Crime Staff, including PC 7155 Kumar Kamal Shetti, PC 30117 Thammagouni Suresh Kumar, HG 2267 J. Venkatesh, and CDR Team members, especially PC 7933 Md Amir Shareef and PC 5235 K. Dinesh Kumar, for their meticulous work in location tracking and CDR analysis.
The suspects have been charged with multiple offenses and are expected to face severe legal consequences for their actions.
