Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy Centre For International Trade And Business Laws (JRCITBL) To Established at NALSAR University of Law

Former judge of Supreme Court B.P.Jeevan Reddy, has donated a sum of Rs.1.50 Crores for establishing ‘Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy Centre for International Trade and Business Laws (JRCITBL)’ at NALSAR, University of Law, Hyderabad.

On behalf of NALSAR University of Law, the donation amount cheque was received by the Hon’ble Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Satish Chandra Sharma, Chief Justice of Telangana High Court on March 27, 2022 at a function organized at the Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy’s Residence.

Former Judges of Supreme Court of India P.V. Reddi, S.S.M. Quadri, B. Sudershan Reddy, R.Subhash Reddy and L.Narshima Reddy former Chief Justice of Patna High Court and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, A. Rajasheker Reddy, P.Naveen Rao, all Judges of the High Court were present.

Alos present were Justice A. Narasimha Reddy, Chairman, Bar Council of Telangana, Dr. P.S.Rao, Former President of the Institute de Droit International, Geneva, Switzerland, Prof.Faizan Mustafa, Vice-chancellor, NALSAR, Prof.V.Balakista Reddy, Registrar, NALSAR and Mr. Mayur Reddy, Advocate, High Court for the State of Telangana.

While receiving the Cheque, Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law,  Justice  Satish Chandra Sharma, appreciated the generous donation for establishing ‘Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy Centre for International Trade and Business Laws (JRCITBL)’ at NALSAR with the objectives of undertaking teaching and research pertaining to contemporary issues in international trade and business laws; to conduct seminars, conferences, lectures and short term training programs; to launch and strengthen courses at undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral level at NALSAR; to publish research work and collaborate with policy makers; to assist in procuring internships at various International and National Organisations like IMF,IBRD, WTO, CII, FICCI etc.

The Hon’ble Judges appreciated the initiative taken by NALSAR in general and particularly Prof.V.Balakista Reddy, Registrar, NALSAR in establishing ‘Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy Centre for International Trade and Business Laws (JRCITBL)’ at NALSAR.
