Justice Alok Aradhe Sworn in as Telangna HC Chief Justice

Hyderabad: Justice Alok Aradhe on Sunday sworn in as the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court at Rajbhavan.
He was administered the oath of office by Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan. Justice Aradhe became the sixth Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
Chief Minister K. Chanrashekhar Rao his cabinet colleagues and senior officials. Prominent persons from the judiciary, public representatives and bureaucrats were present at the event.
TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy was also present.
Justice Aradhe succeeds Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who is elevated as judge of Supreme Court of India.
Justice Aradhe served as a judge in Karnatakaand Madhya Ptadesh High Courts.
He took the oath as judge of the Karnataka High Court on November, 17,2018, and also worked as the Acting Chief Justice.
Before the swearing in ceremony, the High- Court registrar read out the warrant issued by President Droupadi Murmu on July, 18 appointing Justice Alok Aradhe as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court
Justice Alok Aradhe, B.Sc., LL.B was born on April 13, 1964 and was enrolled as an Advocate on 12.07.1988 and practised at Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur, in Civil, Constitutional, Law and Service matters and specialized in Constitutional and Civil matters. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on December 29, 2009 and Permanent Judge on February 15, 2011. He was transferred to Jammu & Kashmir High Court on September 20, 2016.
