Impose a Complete ban on Tablighi Jamaat for spreading Coronavirus, Conduct CBI Probe: Letter Petition to CJI

On Tuesday a Letter petition filed by one Ajay Gautam to CJI SA Bobde seeking an immediate direction to impose a ban on Tablighi Jamaat and all its activities.
In his letter Ajay Gautam submits that thousands of worshipers from across the world attended the Tablighi Jamaat Congregation held at Nizamuddin from march 13-15, even as the country began taking measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Ajay Gautam fonder of Hum Hindu a body “against politics of Muslim appeasement” in his letter petition urged the Supreme Court to treat his letter as a Public Interest Litigation.
“It is submitted that Hundreds of foreigners from 61 countries who were came on tourist Visa joined above gathering for propagating Islam in India. It is further submitted that hundreds of foreigners who joined the gathering came from the countries where the Coronavirus already spread in large numbers. It is further submitted that the above-named organization hide this information from the concern agency and put the life of the citizens in danger.”
Gautam claims that even the police and medical authorities asked the Jamaat members to come forward “None of them came forward “and and it is only after police raid that the infected ones were found to be inside the Markaz Building
Gautam also stated that the Court should direct the Delhi Government
To Demolish the Markaz building situated at Nizamuddin and it is an illegal structure.
“That thousands of participators/ Jemaateis including foreign nationals were evacuate/ arrested/ detained by the police from hundreds of mosques/ Madarsas who were hide themselves after many advisories/ directions issued by the agencies. That thousands of participators/ Jemaateis are still out of reach from the hands of agencies and spreading this pandemic among the citizens in every part of India.
Gautam further contends that the entire congregation as a “planned conspiracy. ‘stating that the Jamaat members were responsible for spreading the Pandemic as a “bio-weapon”, and the war has been waged against the Union of India.
The petitioner further notes that there are two substantial questions of law of general public importance to be dealt by the court.

The petitioner further says that an enquiry be conducted to establish the role of Jamaat in the communal riots that took place in North East Delhi in February.
