In a notable move, Hyderabad’s Commissioner of Police introduced the Commissioner’s Trophy to honour exceptional work by special police wings, particularly the CCS (City Crime Station) and Cyber Crime units, addressing the new-age challenges faced by these divisions. For 2024, the prestigious Commissioner’s Trophy for Best Investigation Team was awarded to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Team I of CCS, led by ACP Y. Harish Kumar and Inspector D. Ram Babu, along with SIs S. Ravi Kumar and B. Jayanth. Additionally, the Cyber Crimes Team, led by Inspector K. Madhusudhan Rao and supported by SIs K. Venkatesh and Ch.
