Hyderabad, 20, September, 2025 – In a gesture of appreciation, Moulana Syed Zia Hussain Jafferi called on the Director General & Commissioner of Police, Mr. C. V. Anand (IPS), to congratulate him for his commendable efforts in ensuring peace and security across the city.
During the meeting, Moulana Jafferi specifically lauded the meticulous arrangements made by the Hyderabad Police for the smooth and peaceful conduct of major religious processions, including Muharram, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Milad-un-Nabi. He noted that the police’s proactive approach and effective coordination with community leaders played a key role in fostering communal harmony and ensuring that the events were conducted without incident.
The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between law enforcement agencies and religious leaders in maintaining peace and upholding the city’s long-standing tradition of unity in diversity.
