Court Delivers Verdict in Shocking Minor Rape Case: Justice Served

In an important POCSO Act case XII Additional Sessions Judge, Hyd. Pronounced an important judgement convicting the accused for six months simple imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs), one Amar Nepali has committed rape on a minor girl and threatened the minor girl by showing a knife that not to tell her family members about the incident 29.08.2023, however it was reported on 30-08-2023, when the girl’s parents came to know about the incident, they approached police station and lodged a petition. Police instantly registered a FIR under relevant sections and started investigating the case. After through investigation the case has come to a legal conclusion on 18-03-2025 sentencing the accused. The XII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Nampally, Hyd. convicted accused for Rigorous Imprisonment for LIFE Which Shall mean Imprisonment for the remainder of his Natural LIFE and to pay a fine of Rs. 10000/- for the offence 3 r/w 4 (2) of the POCSO Act in default of Payment of the fine Accused is Directed to Undergo Simple Imprisonment for a period of (06) Months and victim composition Rs. 2,00,000/-
