Central Government Appoints Six Top Legal Minds as New Additional Solicitors General for Supreme Court

On Monday, the central government announced the appointment of six new Additional Solicitors General (ASGs) for the Supreme Court. These appointments are set for a term of three years, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first.
The newly appointed ASGs are distinguished senior advocates:
- S. Dwarkanath
- Archana Pathak Dave
- Satya Darshi Sanjay
- Bijender Chahar
- Raghavendra P. Shankar
- Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakre (also known as Raja Thakre)
Notably, Satya Darshi Sanjay has previously served as an Additional Solicitor General at the Patna High Court. The formal notification of these appointments was issued by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions.
