Hyderabad, 11-06-2025 – Telangana – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched a probe into a case of disproportionate assets against the former Stores In-charge of Ordnance Factory, Medak, Telangana, and his wife. The case, officially registered on June 9, 2025, revolves around allegations that the accused, while serving as a Scale-04 Officer at the factory, illicitly amassed wealth far beyond his known sources of income.
According to the investigation, the officer, during his tenure spanning from January 1, 2010, to June 30, 2024, allegedly accumulated assets worth ₹2,17,60,582, which he has failed to satisfactorily justify. The authorities suspect that he enriched himself and his family members through unlawful financial transactions, raising serious concerns over corruption and abuse of power.
The CBI carried out search operations at three locations across Telangana, leading to the recovery of 338 crucial documents related to multiple immovable properties, further strengthening the case against the accused. Officials are meticulously examining these records to trace the flow of funds and identify any additional assets that may have been unlawfully acquired.
The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement officials determined to unearth the full extent of financial misconduct. If proven guilty, the accused could face stringent legal action under anti-corruption and financial misappropriation laws. The case underscores the CBI’s commitment to combating corruption and ensuring accountability among public officials.
