CBI Arrests a Branch Manager of Central Bank of India in A Bribery Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, Silondi Branch, District Katni (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding & accepting bribe of Rs.10,000/- from the complainant. 

            A case was registered on complaint against the accused. It was alleged that the Branch Manager had demanded bribe for processing the application of the complainant for starting KIOSK at village Kachargaon (M.P.). 

            CBI laid a trap and caught the Branch Manager red handed while demanding & accepting bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- Searches were conducted at the office & residential premises of the accused which led to recovery of documents.              The accused is being produced today before the Competent Court
