Bar Council of Telangana in Association With ICFAI Law School Organized A Two Day Residential Orientation For Young Advocates

Bar Council of the State of Telangana in association with ICFAI Law School Hyderabad has organized a Two Day Residential orientation programme for Young Advocates of Telangana State and today i.e. on 10.05.2022 the same was inaugurated by Hon’ble Sri Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Judge, High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad while addressing the new Junior Advocates, he has shared his experiences as a Junior Lawyer. He further enlighten Junior Advocates as to how they have to represent before the Courts and how they have to prepare themselves initially with regard to the facts of the case and on whose behalf the said Advocate is representing. He has enlighten the Junior Advocates that the attitude, behaviour and communication skills of the Junior Advocates will have its own impression over the judge. He enlighten the gathering that Advocate should be accountable to the clients, to the Court in which he practices, his approach towards his colleague Advocates should be brotherly approach.
He has advised the Junior Advocates to learn more about drafting, pleadings and also reading books as well as the documents for considerable time in order to know the factual issue to be dealt.
He has commented that over the night one cannot become a Senior Advocate and if one does an industrious work he can prove himself as a good Lawyer. He has advised the juniors that by looking at the lifestyle of Senior Advocates they should not compare with them and better not to adopt shortcut methods to reach the stage of such Senior Advocates. He has explained about the importance of Cross Examination of witnesses i.e. what to ask and what not to be asked, likewise he has enlighten the new entrants of the profession and advised that there is a vast area of practice and one should not feel of a failure in one case that as if he cannot practice further more.
He has advised that Patience will result into success. He further advised the Junior Advocates not to step into the shoes of client but to extend effective legal service to the litigant who ever approaches him by taking appropriate and necessary instructions from the client in order to prepare the brief.
He has congratulated the Bar Council of Telangana for conducting the two day residential orientation programme which will help the Junior Advocates.
Sri A.V.Narsimha Rao, Director, ICFAI Law School, IFHE has also addressed the gathering and he has pointed out that Junior Advocates are to ether with the profession ethics and moral values which will help them in their future and he further advised that Arbitration and Conciliation subject is becoming more prominent in future, so also he advised the participants to get equip with new enactments touching with technology.
Sri A.Narasimha Reddy, Chairman, Bar Council of Telangana has ventilated the views of Bar Council of Telangana in organizing the two day residential Orientation programme it will help the skills of Advocates in their day to day practice.
This type of skills are to be developed amongst the Advocates as the profession is becoming highly challenging and calls for continuous updating of knowledge of the latest developments in terms of new laws being enacted. He further advised the juniors that if they understand the intricacies of any problem in terms of scientific attitude. This training will help them more in equipping themselves to answer the need. He has pointed out that judicial activism has been playing a catalytic role in creating awareness about the various issues including economic and societal issues among the general public which are exerting the required pressure on the legislature and Executive for necessary action. He further requested the Junior Advocates to develop their skills and to assist the Court of Justice as a duty on their part. In this inaugural session Sri P.Vishnuvardhana Reddy, Member Bar Council of India for the State of Telangana and Sri K.Sunil Goud, Vice-Chairman, Bar Council of Telangana also took part.
