Kukatpally, Telangana – The President and Executive Committee of the Kukatpally Bar Association have formally lodged a complaint with the Honorable Chairman of the Bar Council of the State of Telangana. In their representation, the Association alleges that police personnel from the Borabanda police station, led by a sub-inspector and several constables, engaged in a violent and unlawful raid on a rented property.
According to the Bar Association, the officers forcibly breached the gates and doors of the premises, entered without cause or justification, and subjected the resident advocate, Mr. P. Santosh, to verbal abuse using vulgar language. The officers are also accused of physically assaulting Mr. Santosh, who practices law at the Kukatpally courts.
In response, Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana, Mr. A. Narasimha Reddy as the apex regulatory body for the state’s legal professionals, has taken the matter with utmost seriousness. The Council has strongly condemned the actions of the Borabanda police, citing a blatant misuse of authority and an unacceptable breach of legal conduct. The Council’s statement asserts that the assault on Mr. Santosh is a flagrant violation of legal standards and reaffirms its commitment to holding accountable those responsible for such misconduct.
