Anil Tiwari Unveils ‘All-India Trust for Lawyers’ at HCBA Conference to Tackle Legal Community’s Deep-Rooted Challenges

In a significant development during the All-India Conference on Judicial System Accountability and Transparency, convened by the Allahabad High Court Advocates Association (HCBA) on April 26, 2025, Senior Advocate and President HCBA Mr. Anil Tiwari after extensively discussing with 10 High Courts Advocates presidents announced the launch of the All-India Trust for Lawyers. This initiative is intended to address the complex challenges encountered by the legal community, encompassing financial instability, misconduct, and systemic disregard. Objectives of the All-India Trust for Lawyers

The Trust is envisioned as a pan-India platform to:​

Provide Financial Assistance: Offer support to lawyers facing economic hardships due to prolonged litigation, health issues, or other adversities.​

Promote Professional Integrity: Implement measures to uphold ethical standards and combat corruption within the legal profession.​

Advocate for Systemic Reforms: Engage in policy advocacy to address structural issues affecting the judiciary and legal practitioners.​

Anil Tiwari emphasized the necessity of such an institution, highlighting that the legal profession is often beset by challenges that impede the delivery of justice.
