ACCUSED GOT 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT CONVICTION AND RS. 60,000/ FINE IN RAPE AND CHEATING CASE.

(Judicial Quest News Service) ACCUSED GOT 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT CONVICTION AND RS. 60,000/ FINE IN RAPE AND CHEATING CASE.

The facts of the case are that, the victim 21 years, R/o Meerpet lodged a complaint at Meerpet PS in which she stated that, while she was studying, the accused Shaik Mohd. Jahangir Pasha, age: 29 years R/o Vanasthalipuram who was working as teacher in that school used to follow her on the pretext of love and promised her that, he will marry her. In the year 2011 the accused took her to resort and had forcible sexual intercourse with her. In the month of July 2011 the accused got marriage with another woman. On knowing the same she questioned him about his marriage, on that he told her that he did not like his wife and promised her that, he will marry her and he had forcible sexual intercourse with her several times. In the year 2012 she got pregnancy and informed the same to the accused then, he tried to get abortion but, she refused to get abortion. On that the accused left her and refused to marry her and claimed that he is not responsible for her pregnancy and suspected her fidelity. At this juncture she decided to give birth to the child. She gave birth to a male baby. The IO got collected blood samples of the victim, her male baby and the accused and DNA test was conducted, in which it was reported that the accused is biological father at the male baby born to the victim.In this case the 1st IO Sri. T.Ravinder completed the investigation and 2nd IO Sri.P.Sridhar Reddy, Meerpet PS filed charge sheet in the court. During the trail, today i.e., 08.07.2019 the Hon’ble 1st SPL Court, Crime against Women At LB Nagar convicted the accused Shaik Mohd. Jahangir Pasha, S/o Shaik Kalesha Vali, age 29 yrs, occ: Pvt Employee ,R/o Vanasthalipuram to undergo 10 year Rigorous Imprisonment and imposed fine of RS 60,000/ and ordered the accused to pay the fine amount to victim as compensation. Addl PP Buchi Reddy looked after the prosecution. CP Rachakonda has specially appreciated IO, CDO and Addl PP for their efforts in getting this conviction.
