SCBA Issues Show Cause Notice against Ashok Arora Alleging disruption of EC meeting and creating a hostile atmosphere to make regular and cordial functioning of EC impossible.

The Supreme Court Baer Association has issued a notice to Ashok Arora to show cause as to why ex-parte proceedings by a three- member committee should not be initiated against him for alleged disruptions and consistent acts of commission and omission as revealed from the records and documents including electronic messages.
From the beginning of the present executive Committee’s meeting held on 18-12-2109, you adopted a deliberately hostile obstructionist and confrontational approach with the president and Members of the Executive Committee mentions the letter.
It is further stated in the letter that he (Ashok Arora) had insisted that since the Honorary Secretary is the Chief executive officer of the SCBA, you alone have the right to conduct meetings, and repeatedly tried to disrupt the proceedings, thereby compelling the President to leave the Meeting.
The notice mentions that Arora had made abusive and objectionable insinuations against office bearers of the SCBA, thereby creating dissention and hatred in the cohesive working of the executive committee.
The notice also highlights the messages that have been allegedly exchanged by Arora wherein he has referred to the President as “Ravana” “Shameless Creature” and used insulting and derogatory phrases against the president, Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave.
The letter further mentions that you never cooperated with the President, the Vice-President, or the other office bearers to allow orderly and decorous functioning of the EC. You refused to consult the President for preparation of any Agenda for the EC and indeed no proper Agenda was ever printed and circulated in advance.
The notice further highlights the behaviour of Ashok Arora “you have been found to be using objectionable, intemperate, and abusive and language containing insinuations against the office bearers of the Executive Committee.
Especially, in whats aap messages sent by you to the Executive Committee Group while transacting/discussing official business of the Executive Committee you have copiously used unwanted abusive remarks, insinuations and threatening language against office bearers calculated to create dissention and hatred in the cohesive working of the Executive Committee.
