Bomb Explodes at Lucknow Court Several Lawyers injured

Lucknow court blast. Two Lawyers injured during an explosion at the Lucknow court on Thursday afternoon.

A bomb explosion has been reported at a court complex in Lucknow on Thursday, media reports said. At least two lawyers are feared injured in the explosion.

The injured lawyer is identified as Sanjiv Lodhi, who also holds a post of joint secretary in the Lucknow Bar Association, suffered minor injuries in the attack.

Speaking to Judicial Quest reporter Lodhi said: “I was attacked by people with pistols and bombs. I have suffered minor injuries but some more people are injured.

I demand immediate security from the administration. If something happens to me then administration will be held responsible.”

“Also, I want to know how the culprits were able to carry bombes inside the court premises even though security measures are in place”.

According to the initial reports that are surfacing the attack was a result of a dispute between two groups of lawyers, police said.

The authorities are scanning the CCTV footage to identify the culprits who hurled the bomb at the lawyer.

According to the locals, the blast was a result of a dispute between two groups of lawyers on complaint. The bomb blast is believed to be an attempt to attack lawyers present in the court.

According to Sanjiv Lodhi he was the target of the attack because he had been complaining about a few judicial officers.
