Shocking NEET UG 2024 Question Paper Leak: CBI Unveils Second Charge Sheet Against Six Suspects

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a second charge sheet in the alarming NEET UG 2024 question paper leak case, targeting six individuals, including key figures from Oasis School in Hazaribagh. Presented to the Special Court for CBI cases in Patna, the charge sheet includes serious offenses under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, such as criminal conspiracy, cheating, and theft, as well as corruption charges against the school’s Principal and Vice-Principal.
The accused are:
- Baldev Kumar @ Chintu
- Sunny Kumar
- Dr. Ahsanul Haque (Principal, Oasis School and City Coordinator)
- Md. Imtiyaz Alam (Vice-Principal and Centre Superintendent)
- Jamaluddin @ Jamal (Hazaribagh newspaper reporter)
- Aman Kumar Singh
This follows the initial charge sheet against 13 suspects filed on August 1, 2024. Investigations have revealed that Dr. Haque and Alam allegedly conspired to steal the NEET UG question paper, leading to a total of 48 arrests related to this scandal.
The CBI has also identified candidates who benefitted from the leak and has communicated their details to the National Testing Agency for further action. Investigations continue into additional suspects and related matters.
