Special Opportunity: A.P. Advocates’ Welfare Fund Opens Membership to Seasoned Lawyers

In a landmark decision taken in the General Body meeting of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh led by Mr.Nallari Dwarakanatha Reddy, the General Body of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh has responded to widespread advocacy calls. Now, lawyers over 35 years old can join the A.P. Advocates’ Welfare Fund.
Following extensive deliberation and a Sub-Committee report, the Council has approved a unique one-time measure. This allows advocates aged 36 to 60, who previously couldn’t join, to become lifetime members. Membership fees are determined by age brackets.
Applications under COP Rules will be accepted from August 16, 2024, to October 31, 2024, with membership effective from November 1, 2024. This is a rare chance for advocates to secure their future welfare benefits.
